    members come from all areas of the insolvency profession, including attorneys, lenders, judges, accountants, auctioneers, bankers, professors, turnaround specialists and other bankruptcy professionals.

  • The Asociación Argentina de Estudios sobre la Insolvencia was created in 1988 as a scientific institution by professionals in economics and law, dedicated to promote study, analysis and investigation of the related phenomena between managerial crisis and insolvency.

  • The Association was formed in 1991 with the express purpose of finding solutions to the problems arising in insolvency theory and practice as well as presenting themselves to legislative and executive organisation in Hungary and abroad.

  • The Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) is a US nationwide not-for-profit organization serving the needs of business turnaround, restructuring and bankruptcy practitioners. AIRA has a diverse membership consisting of financial advisors, investment bankers, accountants, attorneys, workout consultants, trustees and other professionals involved in the insolvency and bankruptcy field.

  • AIPSA is a voluntary Association originally formed by a group of insolvency practitioners in 1986 with a current membership of 338 practitioners,
    academics and other participants involved in the Insolvency industry.

     

  • Established in 2001, the Bankruptcy Law and Restructuring Research Center of China University of Politics and Law is the first organization in China specialized in professional researches in bankruptcy law and corporate restructuring. The Center has gathered a large team of experts who have been long engaged in researches and practice of bankruptcy and corporate restructuring.

  • BRIPASL was formed through the efforts of several leading professionals in
    the fields of accountancy, law, banking, secretarial and other disciplines in
    order to play a leadership role in connection with, and in relation to, corporate
    turnarounds and insolvencies in Sri Lanka.

  • The Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria, which was incorporated as a Company limited by Guarantee on 17 June 1994, is positioned to be recognized as ‘the voice’ of professionals involved in the practice of Business Recovery and Insolvency.

    One of its main objectives is to impact legislative reform by evaluating and focusing attention on the development of the Nigerian law in the areas of bankruptcy, receivership and liquidations, business restructuring and turnaround management.

  • CAIRP’s 880 general members comprise the vast majority of Canadian professionals acting as trustees in bankruptcy, receivers, monitors, agents and consultants in insolvency and restructuring matters. CAIRP has 536 members in the articling, life and corporate categories. General members may use the certification mark ‘CIRP’ (Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional).

  • The Canadian Bar Association represents some 37,000 jurists, law teachers, and law students from across Canada. The Association is dedicated to improvement in the law and the administration of justice.
