Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors

The Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) is a US nationwide not-for-profit organization serving the needs of business turnaround, restructuring and bankruptcy practitioners. AIRA has a diverse membership consisting of financial advisors, investment bankers, accountants, attorneys, workout consultants, trustees and other professionals involved in the insolvency and bankruptcy field.

The AIRA develops and provides a wide variety of conferences, educational programs, networking events and CPE/CLE offerings; administers the Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and the Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV) programs; provides input to positively impact legislation and public awareness regarding insolvency and restructuring issues; and promotes interdisciplinary and international understanding among groups and individuals in the insolvency and restructuring and distressed field.
The AIRA organized and presented two highly successful International restructuring and Investment Conferences in Shanghai, China, in 2007 and 2008. A third conference in Beijing is being considered in the near future.

Programs occur throughout the year on topics involving recent
developments and high-interest matters. Formats include traditional, DVD
and audio self-study courses; live and recorded teleconferencesandwebinars etc, most with CPE/CLE credit available.
